Noam's Bar Mitzvah Project
Dear Family and Friends,
As you all share in my excitement of becoming a Bar Mitzvah, I hope that you will participate in my mitzvah project. A Bar Mitzvah is about taking on greater responsibility and finding meaningful ways to make a positive difference. Many of you know how much I love soccer. Therefore I decided that for my mitzvah project, I’m raising funds to purchase soccer balls in Israel for children the children of wounded soldiers. Many of these kids are coping with trauma, and sports can be a powerful outlet — giving them a healthy way to release stress, build confidence, and simply feel like kids again.
My Torah portion, Shmini, teaches about new beginnings and learning how to move forward with strength and responsibility. As I step into this new chapter of my life, I want to help other kids experience moments of hope and healing.
Thank you for being part of this important milestone in my life and for helping me turn it into something that helps others.
With much love and gratitude,
Noam
