HELP JONATHAN
Jonathan (25 years old) is one of the most severely wounded IDF soldiers from the current war.
Jonathan served in the elite Ya'halom Unit as a combat engineer, and was wounded on December 14, 2023. He has undergone 6 surgeries on his head and lost a kidney due to an injury to his stomach.
He cannot eat, swallow, or speak on his own. He must have his parents by his side 24/7 as he is under a lot of emotional stress. He is aware of what is happening to him, and communicates via an Ipad and some hand movements.
The Ministry of Defense (MOD) and doctors recommended he go to Shirley Ryan Rehab in Chicago, as it is world renowned for rehabilitation for his type of injury. The MOD is covering 6 weeks of care, but the family would like more time there. Each week costs $50,000. In addition, the parents have stopped working since their son was wounded to care for him. Let's show this hero and his family that we are there for them!
