Andrew & Ariel's Campaign

Please help us raise $18,000 to support Israel’s wounded heroes!

Many of you know that we have been involved with an amazing organization called Dror for the Wounded for over a decade.  Dror helps severely wounded Israeli soldiers and veterans with critical needs such as special prosthetics, home modifications, tuition, financial assistance and legal costs.  Often, we fill in gaps where the Ministry of Defense falls short or assistance gets tied down by bureaucracy.  Our aim is to deliver critical need with minimal red tape.

We have all been impacted by the tragic terror attacks on October 7th and the ensuing war.  Over the past year, more than 4,400 soldiers have been wounded.  The need for assistance is enormous and growing!

This past August, Ariel, Noam and I joined a group of volunteers to visit wounded soldiers at the rehab center at Sheba Medical Center, where we listened to moving stories from injured soldiers who sacrificed themselves to protect Israel, including Dvir (pictured).  Dvir was serving in the reserves in December when Hamas terrorists killed his comrade and nearly killed him in an attack in Gaza.  Dvir finally left rehab shortly after we met him after months of grueling physical therapy to teach himself to use his legs again.  Dvir needed to make modifications at his family home to make it more accessible, and the Ministry of Defense only covered 70% of the cost.  Dror covered the rest.

We are now seeking the help of friends, family and wider Clal Yisrael to raise funds for other injured soldiers like Dvir, with the goal of reaching $18,000 by the end of the year.

Ariel and I have pledged $1800 that we will donate on “Giving Tuesday” and with the Spotify 2:1 matching program for charitable gifts made specifically on Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3) we will already be at 30% toward our goal!  Will you please help us reach our goal to assist Israel’s wounded heroes?
